This is a beginner’s woodshop experience that focuses on drilling in wood.

If you ever wanted a really low-stakes introduction to the woodshop environment, this is it. All we’re going to do is put some holes in stuff.

Even if you have never touched a drill or just wondered about some of the different tools that make holes, come on down.

What you get:
A small-ish piece of two-by-four lumber that you drill holes in.
Some decent instruction on how to make said holes from your host.
A tour around the shop as you drill several holes in your wood.

What you bring:
Patience & attention.
Short sleeves, non-flammable clothing (safety).
Willingness to sign a waiver.
A sense of fun.

People who’ve considered a Mobile Makerspace membership but want a chance to try something out.
Anyone who seriously needs this cause they just haven’t ever had the chance to be in a woodshop.
