Officer reports

What have you accomplished over the last month, what are you going to do next, are there any roadblocks/risks.

President - Not present

Vice President - Getting up to date on dues. Updated the Hackerspaces wiki, so we are now on the map. Took over Tuesday night open house. Need hammers of all kinds - Rachel volunteered to get some.

Secretary - Arduino class 2 weeks ago. 1 paying non-member, 1 member, plus 2 people looking for the SALUG meeting. Week after that Raspberry Pi at the library, no one showed. Took over Thursday open night. Bought a new 13" planer and some sandpaper for the workshop. Looking at getting a jointer. Kyle said he had a biscuit jointer he may be able to bring down. We may need a dust collection system for the Planer. It was suggested that we try to build one. David Leard is building us a woodworking bench. Izzy Swan folding table is assembled and needs finishing.

Treasurer - July 4 full member, 2 community dues. Total income $395.36. $497.00 in expenses, including $50 for projector. Ending balance total $1426.56. As of today we have $1866.08 in checking. $81.93 in Paypal. $50 cash. Rent is due. $1998.01 total. Upcoming expenses $447 for rent, Internet, and service charge of the bank. Russell caught up on his dues because the PayPal recurring payments stopped, he also donated $100 through School Factory.

Report on Arduino class (Rick) 1 paying student, 1 member, 2 visitors looking for SALUG meeting but stayed for the workshop. New 13" planer purchased by Rick.

  • After 1st week of October, Rachel can be available to teach some classes on creating molds.

Next meeting: 9/24 11am - may conflict with Jags football game
