Proposed agenda for General Member Meeting to be held 7/22/2017 11am at Mobile Makerspace
What have you accomplished over the last month, what are you going to do next, are there any roadblocks/risks.
President - Met with Alabama Arts Alliance to give a tour of the Makerspace. They had a week long event, and one track was a STEAM track. They came to do a couple hands-on activities. They donated $50. Met with Mobile United, gave a talk at the arts center for their youth leadership class. This is a good group to be involved with. Wednesday met with Meta Acceleration to give a tour. They want to build a list of local tech groups to do social events together. Dana decided not to run for President, but will still be heavily involved with the space while pursuing interest in a coder bootcamp.
Vice President - Talked to Mayor and assistant, Wired up the lathe, Workday, Orientation class/day, vouched for Kat, Richard, and Janie, converted documents to wiki, need to discuss official equipment procurement procedure.
Secretary - 3 Theme nights with Arduino. Had 2 people involved: Kat and Ron Waite (new members). Participated in cleanup day, organizing most of the tools and supplies in the room. Purchased a big tool case full of tools, ordered the SawStop table saw - to be delivered sometime this weekend.
