Proposed agenda for General Member Meeting to be held 3/26/2016 11am at Mobile Makerspace
What have you accomplished over the last month, what are you going to do next, are there any roadblocks/risks.
President - Went to community events on building non-profits and engaging communities. Went to VMR event on engaging next generation in marketing. Keeping up with membership with Seltzer CRM software. Posting stuff to social media, asked for help in maintaining email mailing list. Wants to look at doing more craft related classes to diversify our membership.
Vice President - Pi Day event at the Library. Wants to start a Lego Mindstorms group that meets weekly.
Secretary - Raspberry Pi group meeting last weekend. SALUG announced that it wants to merge with the Makerspace.
Treasurer - Income so far for March is $446.86. Total balance in the bank is $1185.53.
Marketing - Under president section
Membership - Under president section
Visitor book(Rick) - Visitor book is put together. Also brought in a small magnetic dry erase board for the door. Also add section for membersip to register their visit and what piece of equipment they used.
Signage (Josh and David) - No update. Suggested buying a banner sign to hang on the fence.
Maker event (Josh) - Prime day, but tie it in with an Open House/Birthday party.
Teen Tech Event report (Rick) - About 60 people showed up.
Mission & Growth - Need to add classes and other opportunities for growth and more revenue to grow. Relying on only membership dues is making it difficult to grow. Josh suggested a class per week. Suggestions include: 3D printing, TinkerCAD, Inkscape, CNC, GIMP, soldering and repair.
Engaging Next Generation (Dana) - April 8th (same night as artwalk) Bienville square - we will participate. This is a way to network with other non-profits and get names of people that are interested in volunteering.
2nd Birthday planning (June) - needs an owner

April 9th New Orleans Mini Maker Faire.
May 21st Maker Faire Meridian MS.
