Thank you everyone for coming out to our open house event. It’s always great to meet new people and catch up with people who have visited us before. A special shout out to Emerald Coast Community of Makers from Pensacola for driving over to show their support.
We ran demos of the 3D printer, LASER engraver, Shapeoko CNC as well as member projects. The projects included a large quad-copter and bartop arcade cabinet. Sean demonstrated his haptic vest for gaming and the visually impaired.
Mobile Makerspace president Patrick Davis helped judge the Rural Sourcing Inc. sponsored Hackathon as part of Southsounds Music and Arts Festival. The event had a great turnout of eager college students. The teams had 4 hours to create a mobile website for the festival.
