The shop will not have open hours on Thursday, November 22nd and Friday, November 23rd due to the Thanksgiving holiday.
We at Mobile Makerspace hope you enjoy a happy and safe holiday and hope you are inspired for new projects to bring in and start working on our next open work night.
Thank you for your understanding during our temporary closure, but we finally got the issue with our liability insurance provider corrected and the shop will be back open this coming week.
So make plans to come down to the space for a tour, demonstration or to get started on that project you’ve been itching to start!
We apologize for any inconvenience, but due to an issue with our liability insurance provider, the Mobile Makerspace Board has determined it is in the best interest of the organization to temporarily refrain from opening the shop until the insurance issue has been settled.
Please know that this is being treated with the utmost urgency and will be settled as soon as possible.
Please check our website and social media accounts for updates as they become available. Also if you have any questions, please visit our Contact Us page and drop us a message and we will reply as soon as possible.
It’s Mardi Gras time in Mobile and, being in the heart of downtown, the celebration also means it’s hard for our awesome hosts to open the shop during parade nights. Assume the shop is closed to visitors on parade nights. Feel free to use the Contact Us link to check shop availability or schedule an appointment.
These are open shop days that are affected by Mardi Gras parades.
- Thursday, February 1
- Friday, February 2
- Monday, February 5
- Tuesday, February 6
- Thursday, February 8
- Friday, February 9
- Monday, February 12
- Tuesday, February 13 (Mardi Gras Day)
But now is a great time to think about Making something for that special someone for Valentines day! Come down to the space on open days and lets make something!
